wonderful view, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent view at night from the roof! Nice bathroom.
bathroom is not en-suite, shared with other guests. The streets surrounding the Pyramids View Inn are not the nicest, so you get harrassed as soon as you walk outside. Our guide was more than happy to bring us anywhere by car. Don't be afraid to tell him where you want to go, and don't be afraid to tell him to skip shops from his brother, his uncle, his family :)

Excellent views! Amazing staff! I recommend spending the extra money to get a room with a pyramid view.

This was an extraordinary stay I enjoyed very much. The location of the Hotel is outstanding, with a fabuloust roof terrace in the closesd distance to the sphinx & pyramids. But also the always very helpulf and warm extra service of the Hotel Management is a catory at it`s own.. For example, they organized for me easily almost my whole trip in Egypt and Sinai which was very pleasant and well prepared. WLAN and PC for guest are also available AND working well.

Friendly staff members, the owner Mr. Samy is especially friendly and knowledgeable. Location is excellent (next to Giza Pyramids and Sphinx). Free coffee / tea at the kitchen and breakfast at the roof top.

We would start our holiday in Egypt with a few days in Cairo, just to see the pyramids. And with this hotel, we couldn't have done better! The view is amazing! If you come for the pyramids, this hotel is the best! We had the room with a terrace that looked out over all 3 pyramids and the sphinx! But even if you decide to take a normal room, you have an amazing (and even better) view from the roof top terrace! The hotel is rather small but offers everything you need. You just tell them the night before at what time you'd like your breakfast the next morning and they make sure it's freshly served on the roof top terrace, while you enjoy the view. The staff is really friendly and give you a lot of information about the area. They help you in any way they can and make you feel like kings and queens. We also booked a private full day tour with a guide. If you stay to see a little more than just the pyramids, I would definately recommand their guided tours!
We had an amazing time and have already recommanded this hotel to some friends. But to make this questionair complete, I do have to say that their website does seem to offer more than there actually was... Our room should have a private bathroom (mentioned on their website and here on Booked.net), but eventually it turned out there were 4 more rooms on this hallway and they also could use the bathroom. None of these rooms were occupied at the time we were there, so practically it was our own. I can imagine though that if all rooms are taken, the bathroom might get a little busy during morning hours. Beside that, they also mentioned there was a television in the room, which was not there nor did it seem there ever had been a tv installed before. But again, when you are in Cairo, in a hotel wíth such an amazing view, who needs a television?? Beside this wrong/misleading information, the hotel itself was perfect for us and we enjoyed every second there!

То be near Pyramids - it is grate above anything. It is fantastic to see Sfinx's face against your window. And i pade it very cheap. There is very friendly and helpful staff, family atmosphere, it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend this hotel to friends who come to Cairo for the pyramids.
A bit noisy outside, but it's local flavor.

Good location just in front of pyramids, good attitude of staff for good service and very helpful
Not so clean outdoor neighbourhood and fliers all around the open areas and sometimes inside the room. Breakfast should improve quality.

10pts for location - right across the road from the Pyramids entrance Kamahl is a very obliging host
Accommodation didn't match the advertised specs (2 bdrm apartment was one room with 2 beds). Note that this is a home-made house of dubious integrity, converted to backpackers & best endured for very short stays only. Dangerous ladder to the rooftop, comprehensive travel insurance recommended. We regretted not staying at a large western hotel which are available for similar cost - for security, dining options, genuine Tours etc where opportunist, dodgy operators are less likely to dominate your experience.

Very friendly staff who went out of their way.
Not too keen on the breakfast but that is because I'm used to Anglo breakfast and not falafel. Not really a complaint but more of a personal preference.

It was an amazing, small backpacker style hotel with a "Roof top terrace and Egyptian tent" that affords an amazing view of the Giza pyramids and sphinx which gave this place a very "Boutique" feeling. "Ramadan" provided our every need, carried our luggage 3 flight of stairs, greeted us, and served us our included Egyptian breakfast and evening tea on the roof top. At a minimal cost, and a favor to us, he arranged and served dinner on the terrace, where we watched the pyramid light & sound shows each night. Mohamad did a phenomenal job of concierge and hotel manager. He translated, arranged tours and pick us up at the airport an hour away. I would highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return.
The stairs to the roof could be an adventure and a challenge if your carrying anything.

We booked the hotel only 3 hours before arrival. It was therefore a very pleasant surprise to see somebody from Pyramids View Inn waiting for us in the airport. Arriving at the hotel you don't see a facade at all, just A small stair between two buildings. However, once Inside you'll find a lovely little hotel with a very friendly older man helping you with everything you need. The hotel as a magnificent rooftop terrace with direct view on the pyramids. You can even follow the daily sound and light show on the pyramids for free!
Be aware that this is a backpacker hotel. The location is very "local". There is a mosque "very" close by, meaning that we were waked up at 4 in the morning by very loud prayer calls (this happened only the first night).

The view from the roof terrasse.
The Muezin which is 20 meters from my window and is calling for the prayer with a strong loud speaker!!!

The staff are all so kind and helpful from every aspect. They made me feel very secure and made my life easier in Giza/Cairo.
Noise from outside - sound and light show every night and the call for prayer early morning, this is not limited to Pyramids View Inn, though.

Best location in Giza, with an amazing view of the Pyramids. Samy (the manager) was extremely helpful, and the free transfer from the airport is an excellent touch.
No wifi in the room (contrary to the website's claim).
